You should be ale to get by with just a little hundred dollar gps system. As long as you frequently update the maps to allow for newly built subdivisions or new road construction, you should be fine. You can easily bypass traffic and other road construction obstacles on your own. As long as you have turn by turn directions, which is what all gps navigation systems offer, you should be able to get by with any one of the cheaper models. That means you don’t have to spend a lot in order to get to where you’re getting.

Frequent Traveler

On the other hand, if you travel a lot for your job or for recreation, you may want to consider one of the higher end models. You could potentially shave hours off your time by bypassing traffic or road construction, and you could get to where you’re going faster and have a lot better of a time driving. It’s worth it to spend more money on a more expensive gps navigation system if you drive a lot as you never know when it may come in handy and it would be better to have all of those bells and whistles so that you can be prepared for whatever the road might deliver to you.
